Equipment checkout is restricted to students currently enrolled in a photography course.
A Texas State University ID is required for checkout of all items.
Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis.
Training on proper use of equipment is required prior to checkout. Certain items are course restricted.
Equipment checkouts are for a maximum of four days. Extended checkouts must be approved by the Lab Manager on a case-by-case basis.
Return equipment on time. Three instances of late/delinquent returns may result in a loss of checkout privileges.
The same piece of equipment may be renewed one time if there is no waiting list for the item.
During the dates of checkout the student is solely responsible for the care, custody and control of the equipment.
Costs of repair or replacement of lost or damaged equipment will be paid by the student to Texas State University. Failure to do so may result in the loss of checkout privileges and hold placed on the student’s records.
